MY REVIEW🎃

This was a really enjoyable book. I love how we got to eventually know who Charlie is. Who he is, what he does, and how he speaks. I can hear him through the page, because of how he wrote in his journal. It feels like you're actually speaking to him.

This book reminds me of this show on Netflix called 'Atypical'. It's based off a main character named Sam, who has autism. Each episode is based off a conversation he has with his therapist, each time. That's what this book reminds me of. As @Anne mentions, he seems autistic and that's what no body seems to highlight in these reviews. The way he writes, his emotions, his reactions, and the way he converts with others all show signs of autism; YET NO ONE SEEMS TO REALIZE.

But this was really good. From top to bottom. I read this because so many people had recommended this book to me, and i never understood any references they had towards it.

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."

Does anyone else like have songs play in their head whilst reading? Like my mind with just find a song that will go with what's going on. Like in the scene abouve, when they were speeding in the truck, my mind automatically went to find the song 'Falling For You' by Ellie Goulding. (If you'd like to hear the song, listen here.)

This has so much emotion, and I understand how people love it so much. It may not make me enjoy it so much to the point of it becoming a favorite, but it's a really good book. I can't wait to watch the movie tonight. :)
