Isn't Gat her cousin?

Even if he isn't and he's just really close with the family, he is LIKE a cousin. In which, makes it wrong for you to DATE HIM. Like seriously, what is up with these books and characters dating their cousins. Anyway, I don't really get the hype about this book. So many people on YouTube channels and these bloggers are saying this is a good book. In my mind, this just isn't a good read.
